As you have Cisco Jabber, and Microsoft Teams on your device, you may no longer need your telephone handset on your desk.
It can be removed and returned to ICT for disposal, which will free up some desk space!

To disconnect it remove the lead from the socket on the rear marked 10/100SW and plug it into the network port on your docking station or monitor dock. You can remove the excess cable that connects the telephone handset to your docking station already, as they usually daisy chain from the telephone.
This will create a cabled connection from your docking station directly to the socket on the wall in your office.

On a handset the port will be marked with a symbol similar to this

If the lead is not long enough to reach, please reconnect and log a call through the ICT Self Service icon on your desktop requesting al onger lead - please tell us how long the cable needs to be to reach from your docking station to the socket on the wall.

Once removed please log a call through the ICT Self Service icon on your desktop to have the telephone handset collected. If you are removing telephone handsets office wide please only log one call for all of the handsets when they are grouped together.
